Searching Turbo C software for windows 7/vista 32 bit or 64 bit? and you didn’t find any good software or you find that DOS box method which takes lot of time for configuring that software. Here is a good solution for those who need turbo c software for windows 7 or vista OS.
Windows vista and windows 7 are both popular operating system, but when we compare this operating system with windows XP some of the basic operations/software which we use in XP won’t support in Vista or windows 7 operating system. For example command prompt in vista and windows 7 won’t show the full screen, and another major drawback is Turbo C software won’t support in both windows vista as well as windows 7 OS. So we cannot able to work C/C++ in our newer operating system. So here is a solution for that, with the help of “Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0” software we can work Turbo C fine in windows vista, windows 7 32 and 64 bit PC. This software is like a C for win7 and C for Vista.
We can using turbo c software for window 7 64 bit in other way also i.e by using DOSBox software and Turbo C software. In this way we have to configure manually to work turbo c for win7. But with Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0 software we don’t need to configure anything and it is one click installer software. To work C in Win7/vista 64 bit or 32 bit only you need to install Emulated Turbo C++ IDE 3.0 software and after installing that software you can successfully run turbo c compiler in windows 7 64 bit pc.

Many of you have would tried to install and run turbo C++ in Windows 7 and Vista but may have failed to do so. You may have thought for a while what happened to your favourite C programming IDE(Integrated Development Environment), Which you used to run on Windows XP or 98 without trouble.
The true story behind this problem is that your version of windows has just got better enough or say advanced that it doesn't support the decade old "Dos"
based software.
Windows after 9x(93,95,98 etc) versions are not running of top of dos, they run on a completely different Technology called NT(New Technology), so to provide compatibility with DOS software Microsoft provided these version of windows have a system called NTVDM (NT virtual dos machine), which emulates DOS like environment to run these dos programs but when Windows evolved to Windows Vista and 7 Microsoft removed some capabilities of NTVDM, because of some compatibility issues with Aero graphics and stuff. So now any dos program has no direct access to hardware neither can any dos program Go Full-screen.
Since i also liked Turbo C++ IDE a lot and had used it a lot at school and college i was frustrated when it didn't run in windows 7 and Vista like it used in XP or 98, I started finding ways to run it in Windows 7 in full-screen mode. After a lot of experiment and testing i found that Dosbox could run it as like the old dos, but it had some problems like key-mapping that conflicted with shortcuts of Turbo C++, so i created a completely new installer for installing Turbo C++ on any version of windows may it be Windows Vista or 7(32&64bit) without any problems just click install and run the program from the desktop shortcut thats it!, Its very easy, atleast easier than installing the old dos based setup of Turbo C++.

Note:-
During re-installation please un-install it properly back-up all the source code files from "C:\turboc++\disk\" folder and delete the folder "C:\turboc++", reboot your computer and then you can proceed to re-installing it.
Un-installing won't delete the source files you created, you can find them in "C:\TurboC++\Disk" folder.
For Graphics programming please use "C:\\Turboc3\\BGI" instead of "C:\\Tc\\BGI" as BGI path.
People who have problem regarding inserting special symbols please use the key-mapper to suite your needs, it can be opened by pressing "Ctrl+alt+F1" and change the mapping according to your needs, please don't toggle it if you don't know what you are doing.
Keep checking for a update in case of trouble, this has been tested on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit and works fine without problem except for the "caps-lock" button function disorder, it will be resolved in future releases.
