now after downloading redsnow. download the device software that you are using.

now after downloading red snow,connect your i device to pc
1. open redsnow
2. click on extra
3. click on select ipsw.after this select the software verson of your device.(that u downloaded from secong link if your verson is 5.0)


4. after this click back and click on jailbreak.
5. click install cydia and you can choose other u want too and follow the steps.


after your device is jailbreaked download semitether from cydia. You can download semitether be taping search in cydia and typing semitether in it after tap on install and conform. It makes your jailbreak tendered after restart of springboard .
But if the power is off and you will turn your idevice on you
have to go to extra in red snow and click on just boot and follow the steps ....(sorry i cant provide you with other software version link . so, just google for the link.)

its a tethered jailreak for os 5.0 still no untethered jailbreak for 5.0
.. for tethered jailbreak switch to 5.01 and download a app called Corona 5.0.1 Untether


another way to jailbreak.....
Step 1: Download GreenPois0n and run it as an administrator.

Step 2: Power off your iPhone, and connect it to your PC.



Step 3: Walk through the steps to put your iPhone into DFU mode to prepare for jailbreak.



Step 4: Once you’re in DFU mode, click the ‘Jailbreak!’ button to jailbreak your iPhone.



Step 5: Now, just wait until the status bar shows complete, and your iPhone will reboot to the home screen.



Step 7: You should now have a new “Loader” icon on your springboard. Launch Loader. Select Cydia Install Cydia.

Step 8: One Cydia has successfully been installed, you will be asked if you want to remove Loader. Hit “Remove” and your iPhone will automatically reboot.

Done! After your iPhone has rebooted, you will have a completely jailbroken iPhone with Cydia installed on your springboard.

Guys,
you can use your iphone as a mass storage device too.. All you have to do is ssh into it. And here's how to do it.
1.open cydia and click on search .type openssh,click on it and install it .
2.go to winscp download page
and download winscp
3.install it on your pc and run it . Make sure your idevice and your pc is connected with each other over wifi.for this just make a ad-hoc connection and connect to it through your idevice.
4.open winscp and type your ip adress(you can find your ip adress in setting-wifi- and click on the key at side of your connected wifi network which is a ad-hoc that you will make from your pc.)in hostname.



5.now type the username and password. Username-root
Password-alpine

6.now click on log in or connect and after sometime a screen will apear click yes and you r done....




From your apple device download ifile from cyndi to ssh. Just tap on search and type ifile -install-conform after it downloades and installs open i file and you r done.

USING Sn0wbreeze
This jailbreak is for WINDOWS users only, that’s the only OS Sn0wbreeze supports. Also, this will
not work on the iPad 2.

Step 1: Make sure you have all the necessary softwares. Your iTunes needs to be up to date
You need the .ipsw file of iOS which you can get below, just select your device.
Make sure to note where it downloads to.

Step 2: Next you are going to need Sn0wbreeze 2.3 Beta for Windows, which also includes iBooty 2.0 that
we will use later. I recommend putting everything in a folder on your desktop to help keep organized.

Step 3: Boot up Sn0wbreeze and click the blue arrow in the bottom right of the application. Next you
will choose that firmware .ipsw file you downloaded earlier by clicking “Browse”, and selecting the file
from your hard drive.



Step 4: Once it’s done verifying your firmware, click next. Select ‘Expert Mode’ and then the ‘Build IPSW’
option. Don’t worry, building .ipsw files can take a while, they are close to 700MB!



Step 5: Once it says ‘Done!’, press ok. The following screen will, you guessed it, help you put your
iDevice in DFU mode.

- Hold the power and Home buttons for 10 seconds

- Release the Power button while still holding the Home button for 10 more seconds and… Success!

Step 6: If you have done things correctly to this point, Sn0wbreeze tells you to launch iTunes with
your iPhone plugged in.

Step 7: Navigate to your iDevice in iTunes and hold left shift + click ‘Restore’, this should launch
a browser window for you to select the custom IPSW Sn0wbreeze built for you. Select it and let iTunes
restore it, this can take some time as well.



Step 8: iBooty should have been extracted to your desktop after Sn0wbreeze was done. We will be using
iBooty to boot your iDevice into a tethered jailbreak. Load iBooty up and select your device from the
dropdown. Now hit ‘Start’ and you will once again be walked through the DFU mode process.



Step 9: As soon as you are successfully in DFU mode, iBooty will take care of the rest. After it’s
finished, your iPod touch will be booted into jailbreak mode!
