Totally Free Custom and Professional Domains for Blogger / Blogspot Blogs

Blogger gives a free sub-domain for every blog by default but it does not look like a professional domain. It is also difficult for our friends and relatives to remember our blog address / url. So many people want to get a free and professional like domain for their blogs. Here is a tutorial about how to get a totally free custom and professional domain for a blogger / blogspot blog.

There are many websites which give free domain or sub-domain. I suggest you co.cc, cz.cc, ce.ms, cx.cc.

To change your blog's domain, simply follow the following steps.

1. Creat an account and register a doamain on co.cc, cz.cc, ce.ms, cx.cc.

2. Go to domain management or dns control panel or zone records.

3. Add a "CNAME" record as:

    Host Name / Host = www.[yourdomain].co.cc or blog.[yourdomain].co.cc

    Value / Content = ghs.google.com

4. Then create an "A name" type record as:

    Host Name / Host = [yourdomain.co.cc]

    IP / Content / Value = 216.239.32.21

5. Login to your Blogger.com account and go to "Settings > Publishing > Custom Domain" and click " Switch to advanced settings".

6. Enter your domain and save settings.

7. Now click check box "Redirect [yourdomain].co.cc to www.[yourdomain].co.cc" & save settings.

Your blog is ready now. If its not working then wait for some time to completely save the domain setup.
